Our location...
Villa Pedrosa is situated on the prestigious "Monte de los Almendros" residential area, just outside the traditional fisher village of Salobreña. This town is known to be one of the most beautiful and most traditional towns on the Costa Tropical of Granada, an undiscovered coastal strip located right in the middle between Malaga and Almeria at only an hours' drive from the historical city of Granada.
From the villa, a mere 5 minute drive will take one into the center of Salobreña where visitors find a wide variety of bars, restaurants, shops, banks, supermarkets and a local market. From the town's center it's only one step towards Salobreña's beach strip. Those looking for a cultural outing in the town, can wander around the centuries old town's center and its imposing Moorish castle overlooking the Mediterranean.
On many's wishing list of things to do while in Salobreña is, without a doubt, a trip to Granada and its world famous Alhambra Palace. 45 minutes by car will take one into the center of the city where, apart from a large seleccion of
cultural must sees, the center offers a paradise for shoppers and a culinary treat for those wanting to try the typical tapa bars.

- Golf: The neighbouring city of Motril offers an 18 hole course right beside the Mediterranean. Other golf courses can be found in Granada and just outside of Malaga.
- Skiing: From November till May, the Sierra Nevada "Sol y Nieve" ski resort offers 80km of Spain's most prestigious skiing slopes. Material can be rented on site.
- Daytrip to the Alpujarras: The Alpujarras is a mountainous area at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Magnificent natural scenery, coasy Moorish towns where one can find pottery, honey, local cheeses and of course, the reknown Serrano ham Spain is reknown for.
- Horseback riding: some local ranches offer lessons or outing trips with horses and ponys for all levels.
